Gt.Yarmouth Heating Company Limited was formed in June 1971 and has been a very successful enterprise ever since. In January 2008 Steve Botson purchased the company from Bob and Maureen Price and with the help from all the management, staff and engineers we have continued to grow from strength to strength. In September 1985 Steve started his career as an apprentice and has worked his way up through the ranks to supervisor level and then was appointed a Director in 2005.


Steve then offered to purchase the company from Bob and Maureen and has continued to provide the high quality of service which has been built up throughout the years. This decision was made easier for Steve as the current Finance Director Christine Soloman was to remain with the company and assist with all the financial decisions within the organisation.Christine has always been a very reliable and much valued Finance Director and her reputation within this industry has always been exemplary.Christine and I have worked closely together over the last six years and considering the current economy and together we have managed to move the company forward with new ideas and initiatives.


In October 2011 we moved the business to a new location on Gapton Hall Industrial Estate, Great Yarmouth to enable the company to be far more efficient and accessible for our valued customers.With our new location we have a separate office and warehouse which has enabled us to grow with the latest renewable technologies.

We have installed within our warehouse a working display of Photovoltaic Systems, Solar Thermal, Biomass and Heat Pumps which all provide our heating and hot water demands. This display will enable customers to see the products working and to be provided with quality advice before investing their money.


We have worked very closely with Steve Webster as our Renewables Consultant over the last eighteen months and he has provided us with all the expertise and knowledge he has gained over the last 13 years in the renewables industry.We will continue to work closely together and will ensure all our customers are provided with honest and good quality advice before investing their money.


We have three separate divisions within our organisation. These include an installation team, servicing, breakdown and repairs team, and a renewables team.


The Service Department is run by our Service Manager Jane Coe who has been a very important and valued member of staff and with her expertise in the plumbing and heating business along with excellent customer service has been an integral part of the success of the company.


The Installation Department is run by our Contracts Supervisor Ian Harvey who has been a fully qualified plumbing and heating engineer for many years and both of their combined experience has been priceless in moving this company forward especially with all the latest technologies and changes within the industry.  

We have all the following accreditations: GAS SAFE, NICEIC, REAL ASSURED, APHC, OFTEC
